Description: Country Thunder USA – the nation’s premier country music and camping festival – returns for its 16th year to the Shadow Hill Ranch. This unforgettable music extravaganza will feature Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Sara Evans and country music icon Randy Owen of Alabama. Over 40 bands are scheduled to appear. The festival will once again feature fun-filled days of entertainment from the hottest superstars in country music, fun on-site activities for adults and children alike, great food & exquisite arts and crafts. Other artists announced to perform include Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Emerson Drive, Danielle Peck, Chris Young, Heartland, Miranda Lambert, Jason Michael Carroll and Kelly Pickler. Tickets are available for purchase now with a wide variety of ticket packages (VIP, reserved seating, reserved lawn seats, general admission) and camping passes to fit all needs.

Description: The Friends of the Museum presents the 44th Annual Art Fair. There will be 150 arts & crafts booths, music, and food. Kids can create their own works of art at the Kids Art Tent. Look for the activities on the south side of Simmons Library. Kids work with clay, make a bubble print, and create a crazy flying machine. These activities are free thanks to the Friends of the Museums.

Description: Step back to the time when Native Americans and fur traders gathered to exchange goods and services and to celebrate! More than 200 reenactors will be encamped on Simmons Island for this historic recreation. Talk with costumed reenactors about what life was like at a rendezvous. There will be crafts and trades demonstrations, hands-on games and activities, entertainment. Kids can learn about trading at the Museum's Kid's Trading Post where they can barter with traders. Period foods, snacks and souvenirs will be available from vendors. Park your car at Kennedy Park (40th St. & 5th Ave.) and climb aboard a horse-drawn wagon for shuttle service to Simmons Island. This is a free family event presented by the City of Kenosha and the Kenosha Public Museums.
